I was born in Somerset, England in 1975. I feel lucky to have spent my childhood, and early life in such a beautiful county, with its many quirky characters, artists and craftsmen.

I spent hours every day in my father’s art studio. Our house was always full of paintings & sketches, and smelt of thinners & rabbit skin glue. I used to watch my father paint for hours, often pestering him for paper and pastels to do my own pictures. He taught me how to analyse colour; how to start with the darkest elements of a painting and then bring forward the light. He taught me about form, perspective & line, and so much more. He inspired me and my mother encouraged me.

I currently live on the pine-covered island of Ibiza surrounded by the many blues of the Mediterranean. To live here as an artist in the different seasons is a real delight. It blooms with natural colour in the spring and once again in the autumn after the long, hot summer.

I make a living from my art, paintings, drawings & murals. I’ve really known no other life. With each new painting comes new knowledge and I learn something from every single one.

If I don’t then I haven’t pushed myself hard enough.

I have a strong connection to my work. I know if it’s going to be a successful piece when I wake in the early hours eager to pick up my paintbrush.

My paintings are a part of me, my creations, my life.
